Health informatics research: Learn to research systems and data driving modern healthcare. Focus on clinical information systems, electronic health records, database design, and data analytics, followed by work in empirical research methods or personal health technologies design. This concentration requires one course on the Boston campus.

Exercise science: Learn to apply advanced physiology and clinical assessment to physical activity, performance, and chronic disease management. Study exercise prescription, measurement, testing, exercise physiology, and electrocardiography. Participate in hands-on lab work in a four-day Boston residency.

Extreme medicine: This interprofessional certificate includes one or more in-person experiences with online asynchronous coursework. You’ll develop the experience to provide leadership and lifesaving care in emergency situations, including wilderness, disaster, humanitarian, and other settings. This concentration requires a five-day, hands-on intensive experience in New Hampshire.

    • For exams taken before January 21, 2026: We prefer a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 100.

    • For exams taken on or after January 21, 2026: We prefer a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 5.

• Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a healthcare-related field

  • Applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a healthcare-related field plus at least 3 years of experience in a healthcare-related field and is in a leadership/management role with evidence (a supervisor letter) of duties that supports significant/progressive leadership and responsibilities will be considered.
