About Corliss Thompson, PhD
Corliss Thompson, PhD, is an assistant teaching professor in the Graduate Education programs. Her research interests include teacher education; culture, diversity, and multicultural education; social foundations of education; and program evaluation. Thompson is the co-author of the article “Unpacking the CRT in Negotiating White Science,” which appeared in the Cultural Studies of Science Education. She is also a member of the American Educational Research Association and the American Education Studies Association. Previously, Thompson was a teaching instructor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and at East Carolina University, as well as a program evaluation specialist for the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools and at Evaluation, Assessment, and Policy Connections in the School of Education at UNC Chapel Hill.
