About Robert Prior
Robert M. Prior, EdD, is an associate teaching professor in the Master of Sports Leadership and Master of Science in Leadership programs. Prior oversees the course design and instruction of select courses by the sports leadership faculty. He serves on the Board of the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA), where he is a member of the Publicity and Promotions Committee. He has extensive experience as a practitioner in the sports industry, having worked at both the professional and collegiate levels. Prior to joining the faculty, Prior was director of media relations for the Boston Celtics, public relations and marketing coordinator for the Atlanta Braves, venue manager for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games, and director of information and new media for Major League Soccer.
