The Graduate Certificate in Medical Software Engineering prepares you to design and implement effective, ethical healthcare information systems that bridge the gap between technology and healthcare delivery. This 16-semester hour, four-course program covers principles of ecosystem design, systems engineering, zero-trust foundations, collaboration tools, and interoperability/data governance.
You’ll gain the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complexities of healthcare services and develop systems that ensure patient safety while meeting the needs of diverse stakeholders. Courses may be applied toward a master’s degree from Northeastern’s College of Engineering, either during the certificate program or after admission to the master’s program.
