Our Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship program helps you build a suite of multidisciplinary skills for launching a successful business. You can complete your certificate in four or five courses, depending on the format you choose.

Although many startups may be based on brilliant ideas, those that actually succeed are run by skilled entrepreneurs with a strong foundation of business knowledge.
By earning your Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship, you’ll build a firm grasp of the entire process of commercializing an innovative idea—advancing your skills in areas such as new product development, business planning, and organizational design. Your coursework will focus on the essentials of harnessing technological innovation to create a competitive edge, and you’ll choose electives that dive deeper into topics, such as lean design, disruption, and venture financing.
You’ll study full time or part time on our Boston campus, choosing from two evening class times Monday–Thursday. You may start the program in January or September. Full-time study is F-1 visa compliant.

Program Objectives
The Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship helps technological innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs build a diverse skill set for launching a successful startup. This flexible program deepens your knowledge base in just four or five courses, giving you a valuable credential that you can leverage to start a new business right away—or build the foundation for a future master’s degree at Northeastern.
The coursework covers the essentials of taking an innovation from initial concept to marketplace launch, with electives that offer deeper exploration of topics, such as lean design, emerging and disruptive technologies, and venture financing.
