Help solve public health challenges

Tufts University School of Medicine and Northeastern University School of Law offer a JD/MPH dual-degree track. Both schools have long traditions of emphasizing the relationship between public policy and public health, responding to the needs of their urban communities and offering students exposure to faculty members who have extensive experience.

Northeastern offers the nation’s premier cooperative legal education program. All law students must complete four co-ops in different legal settings to graduate; students in the JD/MPH dual-degree track must complete at least one co-op related to public health. To be admitted to the dual-degree program, students must be admitted to both Northeastern University School of Law and Tufts University School of Medicine.

Northeastern University School of Law was accredited by the American Bar Association in 1969 and admitted to membership in the Association of American Law Schools in 1970. Since reopening in 1968, we have received wide recognition, both for the success of our innovative program and the leadership of our graduates.
