Northeastern’s Master of Science in Data Architecture and Management is designed to prepare you to meet the growing need for data engineers across industries. Our program lets you boost or launch your career as a leader, working with data scientists and business analysts to curate, integrate, and interpret data to yield meaningful results.

The curriculum integrates business intelligence, data warehousing, software engineering, and machine learning techniques—helping you prepare for the next generation of data integration. Students learn software engineering through advanced Big Data programming using the powerful Scala language, data science, and cloud computing.

You also have the opportunity to personalize your degree with a variety of electives to match your career interests.

  • The application fee is waived for all new applicants applying to any of our Master of Science or Graduate Certificates for the fall 2025 and spring 2026 application terms.

Some courses and labs have tuition rates that may increase or decrease total tuition. Tuition and fees are subject to revision by the president and Board of Trustees at any time. Select programs at select campuses offer additional scholarships of up to 25% off the listed price for domestic students studying on campus. For students interested in pursuing financial assistance or educational loans, additional educational costs, known as Cost of Attendance (COA) components, can be included in the calculation of aid and loan eligibility.
