Northeastern’s Master of Science in Nursing-Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program equips nurses with advanced skills to care for children across diverse settings. With a focus on urban, underserved populations, the program offers two tracks: primary care or a dual specialization in both acute and primary care.
The primary care track focuses on prevention, wellness, and managing common illnesses, while the dual-track also covers acute, critical, and chronic pediatric care. Graduates are eligible to sit for the Pediatric Primary Care certification exam, and those completing the dual specialization can sit for both Primary and Acute Care exams.
