Omics
Certificate
The Graduate Certificate in Omics offers students an understanding of genomic technologies and computational approaches used in prognostics, diagnostics, and treatment, focusing on analysis and interpretation of cellular data.
Program overview
Unlock genomic advances
Students will develop a detailed understanding of the key genomic technologies and computational approaches that are driving advances in prognostics, diagnostics, and treatment, learning how scientists sequence, assemble, and analyze the function and structure of genomes. The certificate allows students to explore methods for determining traits and diseases by studying the larger population, as well as how gene identification can help identify targets for therapeutic intervention. Students who are already in the field or have an interest in the field will significantly benefit from this curriculum.
