The Master of Professional Studies in Analytics helps meet demand from employers by teaching the skills analysts need to help make data-driven decisions. These include statistics and math, analytics systems technology, business intelligence, advanced analytics, business process/management, business analytics agility, communicating with data, leadership, and data governance, policy, and ethics.
Students apply the principles, tools, and methods of analytics to a project within a sponsoring organization to successfully assist with the extraction, development, delivery, and/or translation/implementation of data analysis for tactical and/or strategic decision making in organizations.
This program was redesigned in 2021 to reflect new trends in the field, supported by faculty and business partners.

This program is offered under the written consent of the Minister effective September 1, 2025, having undergone a quality assessment process and been found to meet the criteria established by the Minister. Nevertheless, prospective students are responsible for satisfying themselves that the program and the degree will be appropriate to their needs (for example, acceptable to potential employers, professional licensing bodies, or other educational institutions).
The term “university” is used under the written consent of the Minister of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills effective May 9, 2024, having undergone a quality assessment process and been found to meet the criteria established by the Minister.
