Master the art and science of business

Our Master of Science in Engineering Management is an interdisciplinary program that bridges the gaps between the fields of engineering, technology, and business. Combining core courses in engineering and finance with electives throughout the College of Engineering, the program provides a solid balance of fundamental engineering principles, management and leadership techniques, and the art and science of business within the engineering industry.

This program is designed primarily for engineers with a technical business focus who are interested in managing technology-based programs. All students are prepared for various potential careers in the engineering management field, including project management, product development and management, supply chain management, and technical organizations.

    • The Foreign Credential Evaluation (FCE) is a required assessment of all transcripts and documents from non-U.S. accredited post-secondary education institutions. (Review the FCE requirements by country.)

  • GRE is not required for terms starting during the 2023-2024 or 2024-2025 academic years

  • Statement of purpose

  • Resumé

  • TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo for international applicants

  • An undergraduate degree in engineering is preferred. Mathematics or physics majors with linear algebra and multivariable calculus, or students of any major with the equivalent background in mathematics as an engineering major are acceptable.

  • The application fee is waived for all new applicants applying to any of our Master of Science or Graduate Certificates for the fall 2025 and spring 2026 application terms.
