There’s a growing need for experts who can ethically lead how technology, media, and democracy work together.

Northeastern’s MS in Media, Technology and Ethics combines analysis, problem-solving, and hands-on practice—delivering the intellectual concepts and real-world skills that allow you to thrive in varied career paths across industries, including information technology, media, healthcare, and academic research.

You’ll engage critically and creatively with technological advancements, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, and cloud computing. The interdisciplinary curriculum explores the ethical, communicative, and political dimensions of media technologies, and you’ll engage in research and projects that bring what you learn to life.

You can choose from six experiential concentrations that offer hands-on experiences and focused coursework. Each concentration provides an interdisciplinary perspective on problem-solving and applying critical and contextualized thinking to the use and development of technology.
