Harness data to drive business strategy with a STEM-designated, AI-powered curriculum that blends machine learning, advanced analytics, and real-world applications. Gain hands-on experience through industry partnerships and experiential learning, mastering the tools to extract insights and optimize decision-making. The MS in Business Analytics program equips you with the in-demand skills and practical expertise to lead in the data-driven economy.

Capstone project: Tackle real business problems using data-driven solutions for an employer partner during your capstone course. By applying what you have learned, you’ll see how analytics can shape strategic decision-making. Required.

Graduate co-op: Dive into real-world projects at top companies or startups. Apply to work full time during the summer to leverage your data analytics and strategy skills to tackle specific projects, immerse yourself in company culture, and contribute to corporate goals. Optional.

Stack your credits toward an MBA

If you think an MBA might be in your future, good news: your MS in Business Analytics degree can get you halfway there.

Once your degree is complete and you’ve maintained at least a 3.0 GPA and a minimum grade in each class, you may be able to apply your 30 credits toward an eligible MBA program at Northeastern for up to three years following completion of your degree. Once accepted, you’ll be eligible for the Double Husky scholarship, which reduces your tuition by 25 percent. (Note that your existing master’s degree is not a guarantee of acceptance to an MBA program.)

For students interested in pursuing financial assistance or educational loans, additional educational costs, known as Cost of Attendance (COA) components, can be included in the calculation of aid and loan eligibility.
